Preparing for our new house!

Hopefully in a 6 months we will be moving into our new house, however the dilemma I face is furnishing the house. We got a great deal on the house in an exclusive area where we are sure to be in the lower tax bracket. My husband has a taste for the expensive things in life, so on a little budget we hope to furnish our house with name brand knockoffs by building them and decorating the house ourselves. Having 6 months to prepare will be great and much needed. At my husbands request I am starting a blog to document our projects. Having never written an official blog I will need much patience and grace to get the hang of recording the steps of our projects.
